Subject-Wise Vacancy and Selection Details
1. English Subject (Assistant Teacher)
For the English subject, the recruitment includes 540 posts for the Male branch and 113 posts for the Female branch. Additionally, several posts for Special Teachers in the Divyangjan Empowerment Department were included.
- Result Status: Out of nearly 60,000 candidates who appeared, 7,165 candidates have been declared successful for the Mains exam.
- Note: In some categories, the Commission could not find enough candidates (15 times the vacancies) because they did not meet the minimum efficiency standard marks.
2. Biology Subject (Assistant Teacher)
For the Biology subject, there are 185 posts for the Male branch and 29 posts for the Female branch, along with specialized teaching positions.
- Result Status: From the 87,652 candidates who took the test, 2,789 candidates have qualified for the next stage.
Important Information for Qualified Candidates
- Mains Exam Schedule: The schedule for the Mains examination and the online application process for successful candidates will be released separately by the Commission soon.
- Cut-off Marks & Marksheets: Information regarding individual marks and category-wise cut-offs will only be released on the official website after the final selection result is declared. Requests under the RTI Act 2005 for these details will not be entertained until then.
- Court Ruling: The results for female candidates from outside Uttar Pradesh are subject to the final decision of the Hon'ble High Court in Special Appeal No. 475 (D)/2019.
